The Manchester 2023 World Taekwondo Grand Prix Final and Community Integrated Care came together to change the lives of 50 local people who access care and support. If you are, please ensure that your British Taekwondo membership and credentials, including disclosure checks, are all up-to-date, and that they cover the date of the competition(s) you are planning to coach athletes in.

If so, please ensure that your British Taekwondo membership is the correct type to be eligible to compete, is up-to-date, and that it covers the date of the competition(s) you are planning to compete in.

Sport Performance Department – 2024 Major Championships Selection Information

The British Taekwondo selection procedure for the 2024 Major Championships has now begun. The Major Championships that British Taekwondo will be selecting a team for are as follows:

  • Cadet European Championships – Tirana, Albania (13-15 June 2024)
  • Under 21 European Championships – Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (20-23 November 2024)

British Taekwondo and Range Sports Equipment in 2024

We are pleased to announce that in addition to uniforms, Range Sports Protective Equipment can now be used at Regional and National level competition following confirmation and UK acceptance of European “CE” safety certification of Range Headgear, Arm guards, Groin Guards and Shin Guards, including Range Hogu for non-PSS training.

Get your Taekwondo club involved on The Path to Paris virtual journey

The 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will take place in Paris. To mark this occasion, Get Set (the official youth engagement programme from Team GB and ParalympicsGB), is on a mission to get children aged 5-11 and their families more active with their new virtual challenge – Path to Paris. Sports clubs, schools, community groups and families can set up teams for children to take part – and everyone can join in with the fun alongside them, completely for free!

Capri-Sun Free Sports Campaign for 2024

Capri-Sun (owned by Coca-Cola) would like Taekwondo, British Taekwondo, and our clubs to be a part of their upcoming Capri-Sun Free Sports Session Campaign in 2024.

The campaign is being run by a company called the Digital Rewards Group.
