During the Summer months, many of us are away on holiday but that doesn’t mean the Taekwondo stops!
Oxfordshire club Phoenix Taekwondo ran a special Summer Kicking Photo Competition, asking their members to send in their kicking snaps for a chance to win Taekwondo prizes from Korea!
The competition ran throughout the month of August. The response was overwhelming with almost 50 individual entries from across all Phoenix classes including The Little Dragons (5+), Juniors (8+), Adults, The Phoenix Black Belt Academy and even the Phoenix Instructors themselves.
The club received kicking photos from all over the globe, including across the U.K. from Cornwall, The Isle of Wight, Dorset, Bamburgh, on the London Underground and even making a Taekwondo kicking debut on stage at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Phoenix also received pictures from across the world including Spain, Majorca, Berlin, Greece, Bali, Hong Kong, Disneyland Florida and even in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) between South & North Korea!
The club made some great memories, and the best photos received some great prizes all the way from the Kukkiwon in Korea.
