UKAD courses

UK Anti-Doping [UKAD] has online workshops available to attend over the coming months. These workshops will aim to support NGBs and ensure that mandatory Anti-Doping education needs are met, with UKAD hosting and funding these workshops online

Education is key for ensuring fair play and clean sport, and UKAD is an active participant in the global fight against doping in sport – and is the national body responsible for creating a UK-wide environment of confidence in clean sport.

To help meet the mandatory anti-doping education needs of British Taekwondo athletes who hold GAL Licences and participate in WT ‘G’ ranked events (such as the British, Dutch, Belgium Opens etc.), athletes should attend the following UKAD Athlete Workshop which is now available for enrolment.

By attending either of the three upcoming workshops, it will mean an athlete has received education on all of the mandatory topics.

To enrol in the course, all you have to do is follow the links below:

•        20 May (18:00-19:30) – Athlete Education Workshop – Athletes can register to attend the session here

•        18 June (19:00-20:30) – Athlete Education Workshop – Athletes can register to attend the session here

Before sharing the workshops with athletes, please review the additional information on the Eligibility and Suitability Guidance on page 10 of the Support Programme to ensure you are sharing the opportunity with eligible and suitable athletes. For example, these workshops are not suitable for talent level athletes.
