Disability awareness research

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our disability awareness survey, helping us to improve coaching and accessibility of Taekwondo to all current and prospective disabled athletes.

Now that we have these results, we are going to analyse the data and identify any key trends or gaps we have in our current offering. These results and our analysis will constitute the basis for disability resources we create in the future.

Volunteer at the 2022 British Taekwondo National Championships in Sheffield

British Taekwondo is hosting the 2022 National Championships at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) Arena in Sheffield on the 24th & 25th September and invite you to volunteer.

Great Britain teams selected for the European Under 21 Taekwondo Championships in Albania

British Taekwondo’s Sport Performance department have pleasure in announcing the teams going to the forthcoming Under-21 European Championships, taking place in Tirana, Albania from the 27th to the 30th September.

The 5th Bluewave Open Poomsae Championships will be taking place at the Hampshire Court Hotel in Basingstoke, Hampshire on Sunday 18th September. 

3rd Manchester Open Poomsae Championships in Urmston

The 3rd Manchester Open Poomsae Championships will be taking place at the George Carnall Community Hub in Urmston, Manchester on Sunday 9th October.

Cadet European Championships Selection Event

Entries are now open for the Cadet European Championships Selection Event at the FireFit Hub in Liverpool on Saturday 15th October.

Para Poomsae Referee Course

British Taekwondo’s Poomsae Referee Department will be hosting a virtual Para Poomsae course on Sunday 16th October, 10am-2pm.

World Taekwondo Grand Prix III Manchester 2022

The World Taekwondo Grand Prix III schedule has been released.
