Meet the British Taekwondo staff team.

British Taekwondo will be hosting membership webinars for Lead Instructors to meet the British Taekwondo staff team in April and May.

We’ve got two more webinars planned for Lead Instructors at British Taekwondo member clubs to meet the team, at 3pm on Thursday 25th April, and 6pm on Thursday 2nd May.

Meet the British Taekwondo team

The British Taekwondo staff team has grown over the last several years and the webinars will be an opportunity for our members to meet and hear from staff about their roles, and how they can help clubs. Likewise, the two-way sessions will be a chance for the staff team to hear from member instructors about their needs. It’ll be great to help put faces to names too!

You may have some questions that may not be urgent, but have always wondered – now’s your opportunity to ask the team.

British Taekwondo’s mission is to bring together and grow the Taekwondo community, providing effective support to our clubs and coaches to deliver inclusive engagement opportunities and enable our members to reach their full potential. As an organisation we keep our core values at the heart of everything we do. These values guide our thinking and decision making, we hope that our clubs and members champion these values too:

EXCELLENCE

We will empower our clubs and coaches, working together to deliver excellence across everything that we do.

INTEGRITY

We will be transparent and inclusive, behaving ethically, nurturing trust, and reinforcing the tenets of Taekwondo.

INSPIRATION

We will offer innovative products and services, inspiring our members to be the best that they can be.

UNITY

We will be member-focused, encouraging collaboration and inclusivity across the entire Taekwondo community.

What will be covered in the webinar

Areas covered in the webinars will include club development, education (including the Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Taekwondo), membership system technology, disability & accessibility, safeguarding (including the need for clubs to have a Welfare Officer), events and more.

Collectively we want to work together for a better relationship between members and our team.
