Master Brian Green receives lifetime achievement award at the Harrogate KTA 8th Mayor Cup Poomsae Championships.

British Taekwondo member Master Brian Green from Manchester Aces Taekwondo club received an award from the Deputy Mayor of Harrogate for his lifetime of achievement in sport.

British Taekwondo would like to congratulate Master Brian Green on receiving the award for lifetime achievement in sport, presented at the recent Harrogate KTA 8th Mayor Cup Poomsae Championships.

Master Brian Green, head coach of Manchester Aces Taekwondo club was in Harrogate for the 8th edition of the Harrogate KTA Mayor Cup Poomsae Championship, to coach and support his team’s participants at the event.

Commenting on the award Master Kambiz Ali said “Whilst at the competition Master Green had the opportunity to meet the Deputy Mayor of Harrogate who was thrilled to learn of the many great feats he and his club had achieved in the span of over 20 years, including producing Olympic Coaches and coaching European, World and Olympic champions!”

Master Ali added “We are greatly impressed by Master Green’s many years of contribution to the teaching and coaching of Taekwondo. The Deputy Mayor was delighted to award Master Green with a lifetime contribution to sport award in recognition of his impeccable devotion to Taekwondo.”
