Do you know an unsung hero that you want to sing the praises of? If you do, you can nominate them for the 2025 Howden Grassroots Heroes Competition and win up to £500 for your club.
It could be a coach, a fundraiser, or anyone associated with your club that deserves recognition for all the hours they put into the sport, and bringing joy to others with their efforts throughout the year.
It isn’t just what happens on the mat that makes this sport so great, it is the community it develops and the inclusivity it promotes that makes it so special, with plenty of work going on across the country by hundreds of heroes each week.
Howden want to celebrate those who give their all for the sport we all love so much, and want you to nominate a volunteer that you think needs shouting about, with the winners earning funds for their clubs.
A prize of £500 is on offer for 1st place, while 2nd and 3rd will also receive £250 each. Votes close on 18th April at 17.00 BST, and you can enter following the link below.
