British Taekwondo is delighted to announce that Master Carolina Barros-Clark and Master Kambiz Ramzan Ali MBE will be our two representatives at the 2026 World Taekwondo (WT) International Poomsae Development Conference, taking place from 30 November to 2 December 2026 at Muju Taekwondowon, Republic of Korea.
Master Carolina is British Taekwondo’s Education and Progress Manager and represents Great Britain as an international referee at numerous events across the year. She also attended the 2026 World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships as a Competition Management Official, where she supported the organisation and successful delivery of the prestigious international event, as well as being named as a member of the European Taekwondo Union Poomsae Referee Committee earlier this year.
Master Kambiz Ramzan Ali MBE brings extensive experience and expertise in Poomsae refereeing. His appointment as Chief Referee for the 2026 British Taekwondo National Poomsae Championships, as well as refereeing at the World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships reflects the trust placed in his technical knowledge, officiating experience and leadership.
The conference has been designed to strengthen technical leadership and international coordination in Poomsae, bringing together leaders and technical officials from around the world for practical education and the exchange of knowledge and experience. The programme will cover the application of WT Poomsae rules and standards, judging and scoring consistency, practical case analysis, competition operations and technology, alongside opportunities to share best practice between MNAs.
Master Carolina and Master Kambiz’s attendance represents an important opportunity for British Taekwondo to contribute to international discussions around the continued development of Poomsae, while bringing back valuable knowledge and insight to support our officials, coaches and wider membership.
