British Taekwondo is proud to officially announce the 2025 British Taekwondo National Poomsae Championships will be taking place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November 2025 at the David Ross Sports Village, University of Nottingham.
This flagship national event brings together the top Poomsae athletes from across the country to compete for national titles in a weekend filled with discipline, focus, and exceptional Taekwondo.
There will be plenty of talent on show across the weekend, with competition ranging from individual performances to pairs and team divisions, across all age groups and levels.
This event will once again showcase the very best of British Poomsae talent, following on from a record-breaking performance at the European Poomsae Championships in Tallinn in April – where British athletes won an historic 19 medals – meaning November’s event promises to be bigger than ever.
British Taekwondo CEO Ian Leafe said:
“We’re really excited to share the details for this year’s National Poomsae Championships.
“After an incredibly successful 12-months for our international teams at World and European level, the entire British Taekwondo family can once again come together and compete on home soil.
“And importantly, give our newer members and next generation of aspiring athletes the chance to compete and succeed at National level.
“We know there is a great deal of work to do to ensure the 2025 National Poomsae Championships delivers the high quality, prestigious competition experience our Poomsae community deserve and with a fantastic venue secured and a plan to enhance our sporting systems, we’re confident this year’s championships will be a great event.”
Entry is open to all eligible British Taekwondo members, with individual, pair and team performances throughout the two-day event, with details of how to take part becoming available in the coming months.
Ticket information
Tickets will also be available closer to the event, with prices staying at the same price as in 2024. British Taekwondo members will receive a discount on their purchases, with member concession day tickets starting from as low as £8.80 plus a booking fee.
