The Assistant Coach Award is the first step in the British Taekwondo Education Pathway, and has been created to help all those assisting sessions gain invaluable knowledge and experience.
It is an ideal course for those wishing to provide additional support and encouragement to students. Equally, it is a great option for students to gain valuable coaching skills under supervision from the Head Coach.
All current Assistant Coaches within British Taekwondo clubs or members who are 16 years or older with a red belt or higher grade can sign up to take the British Taekwondo Assistant Coach Award, which will last for three years from the date of completion.
The course costs £109 (£92 for Scotland & Northern Ireland candidates still to do their home nations Safeguarding course), and will take approximately ten hours to complete, with your Club Coach Mentor overseeing your progress.
