Volunteers are a valued and important core of the work and services we provide at British Taekwondo.

Volunteers perform a wide range of roles at British Taekwondo. They help us to ensure events can take place and be enjoyed in an exciting, safe and well organised manner.

Why do people volunteer?

Some of the many benefits of volunteering include making a positive contribution, meeting new people and friends, as well as the mental and sometimes physical health aspects of volunteering in sport.

If you’re looking to gain tangible and transferrable skills on your CV or provide your expertise and experience in a particular field, we have a wide range of roles that we’re able to provide.

Voluntary work is mostly flexible. It’s also about what you, as a volunteer can gain from your time with us.

An interest in Taekwondo is always welcome but not essential at all. If you’re already involved in the sport, it can help you to continue to build your knowledge of Taekwondo.
