Details of a new Taekwondo and Yoga Health & Fitness session with Amy Truesdale in Harpurhey, Manchester – Wednesday 21st June.

An enjoyable, non-contact Taekwondo based fitness session is being piloted in Manchester.

British Taekwondo’s new Health & Fitness pilot incorporates the fundamental elements of Taekwondo – including high intensity activity, flexibility, mobility, sport-specific Yoga and meditation.

The sessions have been led by Amy Truesdale, a two times Para-Taekwondo World Champion, four times European Champion, and Bronze medallist from the Tokyo Paralympic Games.

The programme has been designed in partnership with the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY).

Amy Truesdale said “It’s an amazing session that is suitable for all ages and abilities. Come along have fun and keep kicking!”

The sessions are free-of-charge to attend and the next one will take place at North City Family and Fitness Centre, Upper Conran Street, Harpurhey, Manchester M9 4DA on Wednesday 21st June.

Beginners are welcome – any ability or fitness level. No experience of Taekwondo or Yoga required. Participants must be over 11 years old.
