An update from the 2nd Ali’s Dojang Open Poomsae Championships in London.
Master Kambiz Ali and his student Aaron Leith from K.R.Ali Taekwondo Academy have just returned home from a trip to the University of East London’s Sports Dock where the duo officiated at the 2nd Ali’s Dojang Open Poomsae. The event was attended by over 400 competitors from across the UK.
Master Kambiz said “Much to the our delight the event was resounding success for the event host, Grandmaster Alipour and his team at Ali’s Dojang.”
The event was well supported from the British Taekwondo referee community, with Master Glen Culbert serving as the event’s chief referee, and Master Kambiz supporting the event as an international referee and Aaron as a class 1 National Poomsae judge.
Speaking about the next events for Kambiz and Aaron, Master Kambiz said “Coming up in March we are delighted to see the return of two more thrilling Open Poomsae competitions with the 4th Lanarkshire Open Poomsae Championships and the 3rd Online Kyonggi Open Poomsae Championships. We very much look forward to welcoming competitors, referees, coaches and supporters to both events.”
