This past weekend marked another significant milestone for Poomsae refereeing, with officials actively supporting events both in the UK and internationally.
Our Poomsae Performance Teams gathered at the National Taekwondo Centre in Manchester and GB Squad trials across Saturday and Sunday, with a dedicated team of referees – guided by Master Gerry Reilly – playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of the event.
The professionalism and commitment of our officials team contributed greatly to the success of this important competition for the GB squad, with the standards set ahead of what promises to be a strong year for our Poomsae Community in 2026.
Meanwhile, on the international stage, Maryam Hosseiny represented the UK by travelling to Sweden to assist the Swedish Taekwondo Federation in delivering its National Championship. Her involvement highlights the strong collaborative ties and the global reach of UK-based Poomsae referees.
