We are pleased to announce that three distinguished UK Poomsae referees – Master Damian Duffy, Master Thomas McGuinness, and Master Carolina Barros Clark – are proudly representing the United Kingdom at the 13th Türkiye Open Taekwondo Championships (Poomsae), taking place 24–25 March 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye.
The 13th Türkiye Open Poomsae & Para Poomsae Taekwondo Tournaments, classified under WT G1/G2, will be held at the Antalya Spor Salonu and will welcome 303 athletes from around the world for two days of high‑level international competition.
This prestigious event will be supported by an exceptional group of international officials. Mr. Usman Dildar, British Taekwondo Non‑Executive Director, will serve as Technical Delegate (TD). Mr. Bruno Brugnano will act as Referee Chair, and Mr. Mohammed Argoubi together with Mr. Engin Sarıkaya will serve as CSBs throughout the tournament. Dr. Nouri Shirali will oversee the Para Poomsae and Poomsae divisions.
We are also proud to announce that Master Ajay Singh Rawat, International Technical Classifier (UK), has been selected to participate in this important event, further strengthening the UK’s technical contribution to the tournament.
As emphasized by Cumhur Dönmez, Türkiye Referee Chairman and CSB for the tournament: “Together, I am sure we will create a wonderful atmosphere and an unforgettable experience for all athletes and participants. Let’s work as a team, support one another, and make this tournament a great success!”
