Year 3 pupils from Ladybarn Primary School in Withington, Manchester recently made a return visit to the National Taekwondo Centre as part of their ongoing Taekwondo training.

The visit took place on Wednesday 1st March and was attended by the current Year 3 students who are all taking part in the curriculum Taekwondo at Ladybarn Primary School. Each of the participants hold a yellow belt grade.

The Year 3s got to visit the centre as a reward and inspiration for their Taekwondo journey with the Ladybarn Primary School.

They were accompanied and assisted by Year 6 students from the school, who have all been on the same journey and are now red belts and only two gradings away from achieving their black belts.

The group got to meet GB Taekwondo athletes and para-athletes for some Q&A sessions and were able to visit the high performance gym used by the athletes.

The pupils from Ladybarn Primary School also visited the GB National Taekwondo Centre in January 2022, and were able to visit the 2022 European Taekwondo Championships & European Para-Taekwondo Championships and 2022 World Grand Prix III in Manchester where they got to take part in Taekwondo sessions.
