We are supporting the NSPCC’s FREE course for parents on Keeping Children Safe in Sport.

Everyone can play their part in keeping children safe, including in sport settings. That’s why we’re proud to support the Child Protection in Sport Unit’s, Keeping Your Child Safe in Sport Week. We’re helping parents and carers know what to look out for at their child’s sport club and empower them to feel confident to raise any concerns.

Parents play a huge role in their child’s confidence, enjoyment, and performance in sport. And it’s key that you feel empowered and equipped with the right advice to help you keep your child safe from abuse in sport.

The NSPCC have lots of resources for parents about how they can keep their children safe within their sports clubs or groups and we are going to take the time this week to highlight these resources to our community of parents.

One of the best resources for parents is the Child Protection in Sport’s Unit’s FREE course for parents on how they can keep their children safe while taking part in sport. This course has been designed to help parents understanding their role in keeping their children safe in sport and what they should do if they have worries or concerns about their child’s safety.

This course is free to take and is suitable for any parent of a child who takes part in sporting activity, regardless of their level of safeguarding knowledge.
