Club Summit

British Taekwondo is excited to host a Club Development Summit next month, with Instructors, Coaches and all Club Admins invited to join us on Sunday 8 February at the Park Regis Hotel, Birmingham.

This summit – staged between 9:00-16:00 – brings instructors and club teams together with British Taekwondo to exchange ideas, tackle current challenges, and contribute to shaping the future of our sport. The day is designed to help our clubs develop practical strategies that can support members and drive club growth, as well as offering a space where clubs and instructors can share experiences and insights to support the wider Taekwondo community.

Sessions will be tailored to club needs, with open discussions and collaborative planning, with those attending having the chance to connect directly with members of the British Taekwondo team.

This summit will also provide the first opportunity to meet and speak with our new CEO, Dave Marshall, who will be sharing his initial views on the direction of British Taekwondo and listening to instructors and clubs from across the country.

There will also be a unique opportunity to train alongside all three of British Taekwondo’s 9th Dan Grand Masters, as GM Kevin Jervis, GM Tong Wan Shin and GM David Bailey will be leading a history-making seminar at the event.

The seminar will share recent learnings from Korea, covering traditional Taekwondo, self-defence, poomsae, and Kyorugi, with updated skills you can take back and share with your members.

We strongly encourage clubs to consider bringing key members of their wider team where appropriate.
