An update following the 2024 World Taekwondo Hanmadang.

Following their recent success on the trip to South Korea to participate in the 2024 Mungyeong World Taekwondo Hanmadang, Master Kambiz Ali and Aaron Leith met with the Mayor of Harrogate, Chris Aldred at the Harrogate Council Civic Centre, where they presented the Mayor with the news of their recent success in South Korea, for which the Mayor personally commended them and their team on their success on their success.

Harrogate KTA

The Harrogate KTA team secured a total of 4 medal positions for Great Britain the competition (1 Silver & 3 Bronze) at the 2024 World Taekwondo Hanmadang.

After their meeting at the Harrogate Civic Centre the Mayor agreed to then visit Harrogate Taekwondo Academy during one their weekly Taekwondo classes, where he had the opportunity to meet members of Harrogate KTA and watch their Taekwondo training. The Mayor commended the academy on their tremendous skills and his appreciation for the efforts of Master Kambiz and the academy and its instructors teaching Taekwondo to the youth and community.
