Taekwondo duo represents Harrogate at London Best Leg Taekwondo Open.
7th Dan Taekwondo Master Kambiz Ramzan Ali and his student 3rd Dan Aaron Leith attended the 3rd Best Leg Open Taekwondo Championships, which was held at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre on Saturday 6th of July 2024 and was attended by over 330 competitors from across the UK.
Whilst at the Championships the duo would play the vital role of judging the performances of athletes competing at event and helping to determine the winners from range of different competition categories.
Master Kambiz, one of the UK International referees judging at the event, had recently returned from his attendance at the 2024 Austrian Taekwondo G1 Poomsae Championships held in Vienna one week prior to the competition. Master Kambiz was also the provider of the medals and trophies that would be awarded to winning athletes at the best leg championships.
Master Kambiz and Aaron were pleased to event encounter with no hitches or issues and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to support Best Leg Taekwondo at their third UK Taekwondo Championships and receive a great deal of positive response from the event.
Master Kambiz expressed his joy saying “I would like to extend my congratulations and thank my good friend Master Martin Obiorah for inviting me and my student Aaron Leith to judge at this championships, we are glad to have seen such a tremendous turn out at this championships and another great success for his team at Best Leg, we hope for and look forward to the opportunity to support this spectacular event again next year.”
Kambiz added “Me and my students are now making final preparations to travel to South Korea, where we will be competing in the 2024 World Taekwondo Hanmadang from July 26th – July 30th. My team will also be hosting the 4th TaeKangWon Online Open Poomsae Championships on August 4th, 2024, which will welcome athletes worldwide to compete with us via our competition live stream.”
