The Poomsae Performance Department begins its search for new talent on Saturday 14th January with the first of three selection events of 2023 for people to begin their pathway opportunities.

British Taekwondo’s Poomsae Performance Department is responsible for the development of athletes competing and training at national and international level.

The first steps to national team selection is participation in open Poomsae seminars and selection into national squad training sessions.

Details of the British Taekwondo Poomsae Centralised Squad Selection Procedure for 2023

For 2023 there will be a centralised squad and regional squads. The selection procedure refers to the centralised squad.

Selections for the 2023 regional squads will take at the National Championships and in January/February at the Regional sessions.
