Earlier this month, three members of Central Taekwondo and the GB elite Poomsae squad visited Florham Park, New Jersey to take part in a six-day training camp at APEX Tiger martial Arts.
Natasha Wilson, Peter Sellwood and Lucy Sellwood were under the tuition of US National Team Poomsae Coach Master Giduk Gun, and trained alongside multiple world medalists, including Eric Gun.
The camp offered different methods of training and styles of poomsae, giving the trio the chance to develop their skills, and help them grow and improve their own poomsae going forward.
We want to thank APEX Tigers for their warmth and hospitality during the visit of the GB athletes, as they showed great encouragement to the British stars and made them feel very welcome.
Peter, Lucy and Natasha were all grateful for the chance to travel and train in a new environment, and thought the experience was a great opportunity, and would welcome the chance to attend a future camp.
