120 athletes of all ages and para-classifications took part in the training session which also saw the start of a new Poomsae Coaching Pathway.
Gemma Biescas, Chair of the Poomsae Performance Department said “The National Squad training at the GB National Taekwondo Centre was an exciting session as it saw the start of a new Poomsae Coaching Pathway to support the improvement of athletes at all levels and the development of regional training centres.
Open recruitments have also seen the appointments of several new volunteer instructors who joined the session and supported the High Performance Coaches. This greatly contributed to the training and activities and will be excellent for the development of the squad and athletes over the coming months and years.”
