The Sport and Recreation Alliance have opened their Community Sport and Recreation Awards for 2023.

This awards programme has been running for over 25 years and is dedicated to celebrating the full breadth and power of sport and recreation within the United Kingdom.
The awards will be split into eight categories with the winning project from each picking up a £1,000 prize at the awards ceremony which will be held in 2023.

The Eight categories are:

  • Community Club of the Year
  • Diversity and Inclusion Award
  • Going Green Award
  • Inspiration of the Year
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing Award
  • Resilience and Adversity Award
  • Volunteer of the Year
  • Youth Development of the Year

Submitting an entry is simple and free, with the submissions closing on Monday 7th November.

We have compiled an outline of each of the categories which clubs can use to decide which of the categories they would like to submit an entry to.
