British Taekwondo is proud to recognise Master Kambiz Ramzan Ali MBE and Master Carolina Barros Clark, who represented Great Britain as officials at the Chuncheon 2026 World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Chuncheon, South Korea between 16–20 September 2026.
Master Ramzan Ali served as a World Taekwondo International Poomsae Referee, judging leading Poomsae athletes, coaches and officials from across the world throughout five days of competition following two days of referee training and preparation.
Master Carolina Barros Clark served as a Competition Management Official, supporting the organisation and successful delivery of this prestigious international event.
The 2026 championships were particularly special as they marked the 20th anniversary of the World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships, under the motto “Reborn Together.”
Master Ramzan Ali said: “It was a fantastic experience and I am very proud to have represented Great Britain as an International Referee.
“Congratulations to all the athletes and coaches from around the world for their hard work, dedication and performances. My sincere thanks also go to the World Taekwondo leadership and all my referee colleagues for their friendship, teamwork and support.
“Whatever our country or language, we are one Taekwondo family.”
Master Carolina Barros Clark said: “It was a privilege to represent Great Britain as a Competition Management Official at this important World Taekwondo event.
“Working alongside such an experienced international team was a valuable and enjoyable experience. I am proud to have contributed to the successful delivery of the championships and to have shared this special 20th-anniversary event with the worldwide Taekwondo family.”
