SEE GB TAEKWONDO ATHLETES COMPETE ON HOME SOIL
Tickets are one sale for the British Taekwondo International Open taking place this weekend (22-23 March) at the National Cycling Centre, Manchester, hosted by British Taekwondo in partnership with Manchester City Council and Manchester Active.
Featuring over 600 athletes from over 50 countries across the two days, senior male and female athletes in G1 Olympic and Paralympic divisions are competing to earn world ranking points which will set them on the path towards qualification for LA 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Athletes ages under 18 will compete in the Junior & Cadets age groups across eight different weight categories for important European ranking points.
A team of over 30 GB Taekwondo athletes will be in action over the weekend, many rising young talent on their first steps towards LA2028.
Paralympic Champion Amy Truesdale competes for the first time in the UK since securing Gold in Paris – see her fight Sunday .
Paris Olympic Champion in the Women’s 67kg category, Viviana Marton (HUN) will also be competing, alongside fellow international athletes Adriana Cerezo Iglesias (ESP) Paris Olympic competitor, and Christina Gkentzou (GRE) Paris Paralympic bronze medallist.

Tickets are still available to watch the action live in the venue – either pre-purchased online or on the door.
British Taekwondo members will also benefit from discounted ticket prices when pre-purchasing by simply entering your membership number.
