British Taekwondo National Dan Grading

British Taekwondo has announced a National Dan Grading for candidates wishing to take a physical in person test for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Dan grades on Sunday 29th March 2026.

The event will take place at the world-renowned National Taekwondo Centre in Manchester.

The grading panel will consist of Kukkiwon ranked Grand Masters – all 8th Dan and above – from across the British Taekwondo family.

Closing Date

The closing date for applications is midday on Wednesday 18th March 2026.

UK Kukkiwon Office High Dan Promotion Test

The UK Kukkiwon Office has announced a promotion test opportunity for candidates wishing to take a physical in person test for 5th, 6th & 7th Dan grades on Sunday 29th March 2026.

The event will take place at the world-renowned National Taekwondo Centre in Manchester.

The grading panel will consist of Kukkiwon ranked Grand Masters – all 8th Dan and above – from across the UK Taekwondo family.

Applications

All applications should be made using this online form on the UK Kukkiwon Office website

Applications can be submitted directly by candidates, or by instructors on behalf of the
candidate.

Closing Date

The closing date for applications is by midday on Sunday 22nd March 2026.
