Competition event dates for your Taekwondo diary.

We are pleased to publish the sanctioned British Taekwondo events calendar for 2023 having been through an extensive policy development process and invitation to submit.

Please note that this is the initial release and some of the national event dates and venues are to be confirmed.

To manage events effectively and fairly and address the fundamental structural stresses that have been highlighted in the review of event sanctioning, a sanctioning system that balances the frequency, geographical spread and quality of domestic events has been adopted as a pilot scheme for 2023.

22nd & 23rd April – British Taekwondo National Poomsae Championships – Gold

30th September & 1st October – British Sport Taekwondo Championships – Gold

19th February – Open Ali’s Dojang – Silver

26th February – Scorpion 1-2-1 Match day – Bronze

25th March – Midlands Open – Silver

9th April – Whiston Open – Silver

20th & 21st May – BTS Southern Counties Championship – Silver

4th June – Scottish Championships – Gold

2nd July – Ultimate 1-2-1 Match day – Bronze

22nd July – LMC Prize Fighter 1-2-1 – Bronze

30th July – Scorpion Open – Silver

3rd & 4th September – Scottish Open – Gold

10th September – Ultimate Open – Silver

29th October – Scorpion 1-2-1 Match day – Bronze
