This week is World Autism Acceptance Week.

We’re helping to highlight awareness and acceptance of autism for World Autism Acceptance Week.

Do you want to understand more about Autism and how it effects members?

We are highlighting BeyondAutism’s free Introduction to Autism Course.

While this course is aimed primarily at parents, families, and carers, the course provides a comprehensive introduction to what autism is and provides information on key topics.

It should take about 2-4 hours to complete.

About BeyondAutism

BeyondAutism are experts in delivering autism education services from pre-school to 25 years old. BeyondAutism is a not-for-profit organisation, leading the way in autism education to ensure autistic children and young adults access an education that empowers a life full of choice, independence, and opportunity.

BeyondAutism do this by creating positive educational experiences, training for the professional team around a child, and information, resources, and support for families and carers.

Autism Acceptance Week 2023

Society has come a long way in the past 60 years, and today almost everyone has heard of autism. But far too few people understand what it’s like to be autistic – both the strengths you can have and how hard life can be at times.

No one should feel judged for being autistic or have to wait many months or even years for a potentially life-changing diagnosis, vital help, and support. We need society to change. Autistic children, adults, and their families just want to be understood, supported, and accepted in their communities, schools, and workplaces.
