Details of the Great Britain athletes selected for the Veracruz 2023 World Para Taekwondo Championships in Mexico.
The Poomsae Performance Department has finalised the selections for the upcoming World Para Taekwondo Championships which will be held in Veracruz, Mexico from Thursday 21st to Sunday 24th September.
The athletes are:
- Jane Bedford (NTC – National Taekwondo Club)
- Summer Waheed (NTC – National Taekwondo Club)
- Bradley Brockies (Polaris Taekwondo)
- Samantha Carrington (Kang Han Combat & Martial Arts Academy)
2023 marks the 10th edition of the World Taekwondo Para Taekwondo Championships.
The Veracruz 2023 World Para Taekwondo Championships will incorporate P20, P30, P50 and P70 categories.
The Veracruz 2023 World Para Taekwondo Championships will take place at the World Trade Center Veracruz, Bv. Adolfo Ruíz Cortines 3497, Veracruz, Boca del Río 94298, Mexico.

The partnership kicked off with Jcalicu uniforms being supplied to the Great Britain National Teams at the World Taekwondo Cadet World Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria in August 2022, and again most recently at the Sarajevo 2023 World Taekwondo Cadet Championships in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Veracruz 2023 World Para Taekwondo Championships will be the first Para Taekwondo event that Range Sports and Jcalicu have provided GB athletes kit for.
