Well done to Leslie Ng who completed his 10-mile swimming challenge last weekend!
Earlier this year, Leslie suffered an injury to his knee which has prevented him from training while he waits for surgery, however, he has managed to remain involved in Taekwondo by coaching and teaching at his club – Kang Han in Hucknall, Nottingham.
To keep fit and healthy Leslie took on swimming and set a 10-mile swim challenge to keep him motivated. Leslie has taken to swimming like a duck to water and completed his 10-mile swim in under 7-hours.
Leslie undertook this incredible challenge in aid of Dementia UK and a local charity Under One Roof which provides support to the local Hucknall community.
We are incredibly proud of Leslie’s achievement and cannot wait to see him get back into his Poomsae after his knee operation (we are expecting to see him back on the mat at the British Taekwondo Poomsae Nationals in April).
Everyone can support Leslie’s efforts by donating via his Just Giving page .

Once again, Well Done Leslie from everyone here at British Taekwondo.
