
The 2025 British Taekwondo National Poomsae Championships are just days away, and we wanted to share some key details to help you all prepare for the weekend. Please take a moment to review the following information:
How to get there
David Ross Sports Village is part of the University of Nottingham and is easily accessible by car, train, and public transport. The full address is below:
David Ross Sports Village, University of Nottingham, Beeston Lane, NG7 2QE
- By train: Nottingham train station is a 15-minute drive away, there is a taxi stand outside the train station and Ubers are readily available.
- By tram: Trams run from the train station to the University campus every 10 minutes. The journey lasts 14 minutes. The stop is ‘Toton Lane’ to ‘University Boulevard’. University Boulevard is a 14-minute walk to the competition venue through the campus.
Tickets & Entry
Doors will open at 07:30 on both competition days, with the start of competition scheduled for 09:30. Spectators are reminded to have your digital or printed ticket ready for scanning at the entrance.
Ticket holders are free to enter and exit the venue throughout the day, just ensure you keep your wristband or stamp for re-entry.
A reminder that British Taekwondo only accepts card payments.
This applies to spectator tickets and all other payments to British Taekwondo. Tickets can be purchased before the event via the JustTikit website, or QR codes will be available on the day to access entry to the viewing areas at the venue.
David Ross Sports Village accepts card and cash payments including in the cafe.

Spectator Behaviour
We want to ensure the Championships are a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone. We kindly remind all spectators to:

Show respect to athletes, officials, and fellow supporters. 
- 
Stay positive and enjoy the spirit of competition. 
- 
Avoid interfering with competition areas. 
- 
Follow all event rules and safety protocols. 
Unacceptable behaviour such as abuse, aggression, or disruption will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the venue.
Photography & Filming
Spectators are welcome to take photos and short video clips from the stands for personal use. However, flash photography and live streaming of competition are strictly prohibited.
