7th Dan Taekwondo Master and Harrogate KTA Founder Kambiz R Ali recently held an international Taekwondo seminar in Belgium, which he delivered alongside one of Taekwondo’s most well-known and respected experts, 9th Dan Grandmaster Ik Pil Kang.
The event was held at the Sportcentrum Karteria Diest, in the city of Diest on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th February and saw 80 practitioners in attendance over the two days of the course.
Participants had the opportunity to train in many key principles and techniques with one of Taekwondo’s most influential figures and renowned Taekwondo teachers Grandmaster Kang
The event was hosted and facilitated by Taekwondo Vlaanderen under the guidance of the 9th Dan Grandmaster Erik Baert, President of the Belgian Taekwondo Federation, who was glad to see the duo return to Belgium to hold another seminar for the first time in over three years.
Commenting on the successful seminar, Master Kambiz said “It has been a great honour and pleasure to have the opportunity to work alongside Grandmaster Kang and Grandmaster Erik, and to once again see this event go so well, especially after three years of not holding any seminars in Belgium due to the Pandemic. I would like to thank everyone who joined us for the event and hope they have all learned a great deal from the experience. I would also like to Taekwondo Vlaandren for once again hosting the event and continuing to support me, Grandmaster Kang and his organisation TaeKangWon, this seminar has been another great step in the direction of further developing the disciple of Taekwondo worldwide and I’m sure we will have many more great seminars to come.”
K.R.Ali Taekwondo Academy will be hosting the 7th UK International Poomsae Seminar by Grandmaster Ik Pil Kang in Harrogate on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th March. The seminar is being held in the days preceding the Harrogate KTA 7th Mayor Cup Open Poomsae competition.
