A report from the 3rd Wales International Open Poomsae Championships.

Wales Taekwondo has just held its 3rd Wales International Open Poomsae Championships, which was held in Cardiff at the Sport Wales National Centre on June 29th 2024 and attended by over 170 competitors from across the UK.

The event was hosted by Master Paul Jones and Master Jo Draper and their team from Wales Taekwondo with Grand Master Peter also serving as the event’s chief referee.

Master Kambiz Ramzan Ali was delighted to be supporting the event as the provider of the medals and team trophies for the competition and also providing the Poomsae Scoring systems and IT Team led by Aaron Leith. Ultimately much to the delight of Master Paul Jones and his team, the competition was a smooth and well received success, a brilliant outcome for Wales based team, especially with this series being the only Poomsae competition to be currently held within Wales!

• 3rd Place – NTC – National Taekwondo Club – England
