Membership of British Taekwondo provides you with:

• Insurance cover for your activity in training and competitions within British Taekwondo is provided through Howden.
• Peace of mind that as a member of a British Taekwondo Club it has been checked and accredited.
• Training and coaching delivered by qualified, registered, insured and DBS checked Instructors and Assistant Coaches working to high standards.
• Access to British Taekwondo Events, Seminars, Courses, Competitions and Gradings both locally and nationally.
• An individual Membership Certificate showing your unique Membership Number and period of validity.
• Membership to the National Governing Body and part of the Olympic Sport of Taekwondo in the United Kingdom.
• Membership to World Taekwondo and the European Taekwondo Union along with 60 million other members worldwide.

For parents of members, we’ve also included a checklist to help you understand what you receive for the membership fee. 

To make sure that you, your club and its members can make the most of these benefits, please ensure that you’ve registered all of your students as British Taekwondo members. We’d also like to remind you to keep track of your current students’ memberships, and make sure their details are up to date. 

By renewing your students’ memberships, you can ensure that they are protected, have appropriate insurance cover, can enter all British Taekwondo events and have access to the other benefits of the British Taekwondo membership.
