Master Kambiz R. Ali MBE, Master Gillian Waite and Master Xin Lee represented Great Britain as International Referees at the Croatian Open G1 Poomsae Championships, continuing their important work in promoting British Taekwondo and strengthening connections across the international Poomsae community.
Through their expertise, professionalism and commitment to officiating at major international competitions, all three help uphold the standards of Poomsae, build relationships with officials from other nations and ensure that British Taekwondo remains an active and respected presence within the global sport. Their contributions also demonstrate the depth of experience within our referee community and the dedication of those who help Taekwondo thrive both at home and overseas.
International appointments such as these provide valuable opportunities to share knowledge, develop relationships and represent Great Britain with pride, helping to strengthen the links that bring the worldwide Taekwondo community together.
Congratulations to Kambiz, Gillian and Xin on their continued contribution to international Poomsae and for representing British Taekwondo with such commitment.
Master Kambiz R. Ali MBE will next bring his experience and leadership to the role of Chief Referee at the British National Poomsae Championships, taking place at David Ross Sports Village, University of Nottingham, on 31 October and 1 November.
