An update from the British Taekwondo Poomsae Referee Department at the London International Open Poomsae Taekwondo Championships.

The recent two-day event was held at Lee Valley Athletics Centre in London.

The British Taekwondo officials at the event were Xin Li, Kim Lee, Della O’Horo, Karen Sivyer, Jenny Furness, Carin Charlton, Hamid Qoreishi, Hyeong Seon Han, Ramzia Hamidi, Siew Kim, Kambiz Ali, Bilal Naqshbandi, William Waite and Carolina Barros Clark.

Carolina Barros Clark, Education & Progression Manager of the British Taekwondo Poomsae Referee Department said “I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for the National British Taekwondo referees who played a pivotal role at the London International Open Poomsae Taekwondo Championships 2024. Their commitment and immense support in their voluntary roles where they contributed significantly to the high standards and integrity of the competition.”

Carolina added “The professionalism, dedication, and expertise demonstrated by the national referees ensured a fair and smoothly run championship, reflecting positively on British Taekwondo and the entire Taekwondo community.”
