Poomsae Referee Training Event in Milton Keynes

British Taekwondo’s Poomsae Referee Department is pleased to announce an upcoming referee training event, scheduled to take place on Saturday 19th August at the Mathiesen Centre in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

This event presents an invaluable opportunity to gain practical experience in a live Poomsae competition setting. It is designed to allow you to observe competitors, score performances, and discuss observations with your peers in a constructive manner.

The referee training event is being hosted at Creative Ways Taekwondo and is aimed at Class 3 and Class 2 referees who are keen to elevate their refereeing skills and understanding.

We are honoured to have Master Glen Cuthbert in attendance. Master Cuthbert brings extensive knowledge and experience in Poomsae, and his presence offers a unique learning opportunity for all attendees. The department strongly encourages you to take advantage of this opportunity to deepen your understanding and refine your skills under his guidance.

The day will commence at 9am with a briefing for referees, followed by the first category at 9.30am.

A carefully planned schedule ensures ample time for discussion, practice, and feedback.

Lunch will be provided, along with snacks and drinks throughout the day.

The intense training day is scheduled to finish at 5.30pm.

Please note, parking at the Mathiesen Centre is limited, so we recommend carpooling or using public transport where possible.
