Have you ever wanted to try Martial Arts? Now is your chance to give Taekwondo a go.

Poomsae (patterns) is a non-contact and enjoyable part of Taekwondo. The non-contact setting is perfect for people of all ages and abilities and offers opportunities for people with a range of disabilities to be involved.

Poomsae comprises a set of pre-arranged defence and attacking movements that gradually become more complex as you progress your development in Taekwondo.

This session will give you a taste of Taekwondo in a fun, safe and relaxed environment.

When: Saturday 17th February 2024. From 11:30-1:30 (2 hrs).

Where: Heatons Sports Club, Green Lane, Stockport SK4 2NF.

We will accommodate a short snack break and will provide tea/coffee for attendees and parents.

This is a free to attend session for ages 5+.

Please wear comfortable sports clothing. You may also be asked to take off shoes and socks, but if this doesn’t suit you, please feel free to keep them on.

Please let Tom from Dwarf Sports Association UK know if you are planning to attend so we can let the coaches know numbers – tom.mills@dsauk.org

If you have any Taekwondo specific questions, please email Annie from British Taekwondo – disability@britishtaekwondo.org
