The search for the next generation of British Taekwondo stars continues over the coming weeks, as the GB Taekwondo Talent Draft Roadshow heads to three more British Taekwondo clubs.
Quest Taekwondo in Penistone, Peak Performance in Wimbledon and National Taekwondo Club (NTC) in Nottingham will all be hosting sessions across June and July, as the search for Champions of the future travels across the country.
Quest Taekwondo – Saturday 27th June
Peak Performance – Sunday 28th June
NTC – Sunday 12th July

This exciting initiative gives aspiring young athletes the opportunity to experience what it takes to progress through the GB Taekwondo Talent pathway and potentially earn a place within the Development Programme, the first step on the road towards becoming an international athlete.
Could you be the next Caden Cunningham? Could you follow in the footsteps of Rebecca McGowan, Amy Truesdale or Matt Bush?
The Talent Draft Roadshow is designed to identify ambitious young athletes with the desire, determination, and mindset to push themselves to the next level. Led by the GB Taekwondo Development Coaching Team, each session offers athletes and coaches the chance to gain insight into the standards, expectations, and opportunities available within the elite performance pathway.
As well as taking part in high-quality training sessions, athletes will be able to learn more about the progression opportunities available through the Talent Draft programme. Coaches are also encouraged to attend the sessions so they can connect with the programme and ask questions throughout the sessions.
These sessions are open to British nationals aged 11-18 who are hungry to become a Champion! Any Junior athlete who has competed or intends to compete, at G1 events or internationally is encouraged to apply. This could be your opportunity to take the next step in your Taekwondo journey.
Every champion starts somewhere. This opportunity to learn from elite coaches and experience the pathway that has helped produce some of Britain’s greatest Taekwondo athletes is one not to be missed.
