Join Sarah Howard (Safeguarding\, HR and Compliance Manager) and Jo Aldridge (Safeguarding Code In Martial Arts) to discover how easy it is to achieve this FREE safeguarding quality mark for your club. You can potentially increase your membership numbers whilst maintaining good safeguarding standards… \nThose who have been awarded the quality mark can use the logo on their promotional material (including website\, social media)\, their governing documents\, policies and procedures\, as well as their official stationery. \nThe Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts recognises clubs or providers in England who have demonstrated that they have reached and maintained good safeguarding standards. The Code has been developed through close consultation between Sport England\, representatives from martial arts governing bodies and those with years of expertise in safeguarding. The Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts “mark” has been created so that parents/carers and educational establishments can clearly identify who has successfully signed up to the Safeguarding Code. \nTo find out more about the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts and to apply\, please visit Sport England Safeguarding Code – Martial Arts. \nDuring the session\, Jo will demonstrate how you can apply for the Safeguarding Code In Martial Arts mark and both Sarah and Jo will be on hand to answer any questions.
