Your commitment as a member of British Taekwondo
Becoming a member of any organisation means making a commitment to adhere to its various governing procedures. These are all available on the website and are generally aimed at making you safer, protected and included.
British Taekwondo require you to comply with the British Taekwondo Code of Conduct and be bound to British Taekwondo Policies, Procedures and Rules such as (but not limited) to the following:
- Health and Safety
- Safeguarding
- UK Anti-Doping Rules
- Equality
- Date Protection
- Disciplinary
As all individual Members fall under the jurisdiction of British Taekwondo during their 12 months of membership, failure to adhere to British Taekwondo Policies etc. could lead to disciplinary action being taken, possibly leading to suspension or expulsion.
Any individual purchasing Membership on behalf of a third party shall be deemed to be acting with the consent of each Member for whom they are making that purchase, including acting with the authority of each such Member to agree to these terms and conditions on their behalf.
If an individual Member decides to resign their membership at any time in the 12 months, then they are free to do so at any time by informing us in writing/email to membership.services@britishtaekwondo.org
No refund of the Membership Fee (or remainder thereof) will be given.
If an individual Member does not renew their annual membership on time, then they are no longer considered as British Taekwondo members and cannot practise or compete, so policies would no longer apply.
