A report from the recent ‘All Classes’ Poomsae Referee Course in London.
British Taekwondo’s Poomsae Referee Department held its latest ‘All Classes’ National Referee course at The Harris Girls Academy East Dulwich, London on Sunday 4th June.
The course saw 14 British Taekwondo members attend, nine of which were attending their first course and starting out on the Poomsae Referee Pathway.
The attendees had the opportunity to gain insight into the World Taekwondo Poomsae Competition rules and application, plenty of scoring practice, a practical session covering key deduction points and presentation, as well as time for discussion.
The course was tutored by Master Gerry Reilly with Best Leg Taekwondo Academy hosting the course. The department are looking forward to some of the new referees having their first opportunity to referee at the Best Leg Championships on Saturday 1st July.
