British Taekwondo organises, sanctions, supports, and delivers a wide-range of events each year.

From our British combat sport and poomsae championships, to local, regional and national competitions, we support clubs, coaches and members to compete. Our technical departments also organise a range of training seminars, workshops and courses for athletes, referees and coaches.

2022

In 2022 we hosted and delivered the European Taekwondo Championships and World Taekwondo Grand Prix III in Manchester.

2023

For 2023 we have adopted a pilot scheme for sanctioning of Domestic Sport Taekwondo Events.

For the first time in over a decade the British International Open Taekwondo Combat Sport Championships took place, with Manchester hosting the two-day event on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July 2023.

In December 2023 we will host and deliver the Manchester 2023 World Taekwondo Grand Prix Final.

2024
