British Taekwondo Coach Education Pathway 2022

BT Assistant Coach Award Launch – Monday 24th January

British Taekwondo’s new Assistant Coach Award launches on Monday 24th January.

Members of British Taekwondo will be able to complete the new Assistant Coach Award from next Monday, 24th January.

British Taekwondo is aspiring to become a world-leading National Governing Body over the next ten years. To achieve this aim, we will require a top-quality Coach Education Pathway for our coaches, with the Assistant Coach Award the first step in this process.

The Assistant Coach Award has been created to help all those assisting sessions gain invaluable knowledge and experience, whilst working alongside their club coach in a class setting as they progress through the award.

For all current assistant coaches within BT clubs or, members who are 16 years or older with a red belt or higher grade hoping to get into coaching, you can sign up to take the BT Assistant Coach Award.

The British Taekwondo team will be providing information and support to members to get candidates through the award.

The first Assistant Coach Award webinar is available to watch on the British Taekwondo YouTube Channel at British Taekwondo Assistant Coach Award Webinar – January 2022.
