Martial Art Dan Grade Technical Seminar – book your place now!

There are still places left at the Dan grading technical seminar on the 14th November in Manchester!

For those members and clubs considering entering the National Dan grading in December – this is an ideal opportunity to run through the grading syllabus and hear directly from the Dan grade panel about the assessment criteria and format for the grading.

We are thrilled to now announce the Master instructors who will deliver the seminar and sit on the Dan grading panel itself.

The seminar and grading will be led by Grandmasters David Bailey, Ian LennoxNeil Guest, along with Masters Azim Razak and Gemma Biescas.

During the Nov 14th seminar, we will cover the core technical principles of Poomsae, Step Sparring, Self Defence, Sparring and Destruction and the assessment criteria for the December grading, so candidates and instructors will come away with a clear understanding of what examiners are looking for and marking on the grading day itself.

Even if you are not grading this time, this will be a great opportunity to train with some of the best technical experts in the UK, so please come along and enjoy the experience.

Instructors are also very welcome to attend, to train or observe. (The day will also feature an instructor feedback and Q & A section)

Let’s get back to meeting each other and training Martial Arts together again after so long apart!

This session marks the start of a series of Martial Art Department initiatives next year, full of skill and specialist subjects to grow Martial Art knowledge, spark new ideas and stretch ourselves in a friendly training atmosphere.

BT will be working with many guest Master and Grandmaster instructors over the year to share knowledge and passion for WT Taekwondo and more.

  • New format training opportunity featuring special guest Master instructors, covering a range of enjoyable, interesting and informative technical subjects
  • Attendees will be grouped in grade/ability so everyone can learn at their own pace / level
(The sessions will be technical in nature and not an endurance test – we are here to learn!)
  • The format will be rotating segments/sessions, with regular breaks, so everyone gets to try each topic*
(*for those wanting to try only 1 or 2 subjects, this will be an option too.

Look out for more details soon!
