British Taekwondo’s newly formed Martial Art department would like to announce its first Martial Art technical seminar, to be held on Sunday 14th November 2021 at the National Taekwondo Centre in Manchester.
This new format training opportunity will feature special guest Master instructors and cover a range of enjoyable, interesting and informative technical subjects such as Self-defence, Step Sparring, Poomsae & Breaking techniques.
These regular sessions are intended to bring our Martial Art loving Taekwondo family together regularly, to learn from each other, see great examples of skill and specialist subjects from talented guest instructors, and will offer club instructors and students alike the opportunity to grow Martial Art knowledge, spark new ideas and stretch ourselves in a friendly training atmosphere.
The sessions will also be a great introduction to the National Dan Grading syllabus and what examiners are looking for at the National Dan gradings (First one on 12th December!!)
- The 14th November session will start at 11am and finish around 4pm so hopefully easy to attend in a day for those travelling any distance.
- Attendees will be grouped in grade/ability so everyone can learn at their own pace / level (and we can stretch the minds of our more talented and experienced people!)
- The format will be rotating segments/sessions, with regular breaks, so everyone gets to try each topic* (*for those wanting to try only 1 or 2 subjects, this is an option too)
We expect these sessions to be very popular so entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis.
Full details will be released on the website and sent to all club coaches in the coming weeks, so save the date and look out for the entry pack!
Let’s get back to meeting each other and training together again !!!
