In Memory of Hazel

Unfortunately, we have some devastating news. A few weeks ago, Hazel from Cheol Taekwondo Academy passed away at the age of 14.

We would like to share our condolences with Hazels family and friends at this extremely difficult time.

This has been a real loss for all of the coaches and members at Cheol Taekwondo Academy too, and as a club they have decided to raise funds in Hazel’s memory for MACS NI; a local charity to them which provides help and support for young people.

On 23rd December all of their members will be taking part in an online training session with an intensity that gives tribute to all the great things that they remember about Hazel. If anyone would like to join Cheol Taekwondo Academy to take part in this training session please contact Damian Duffy on Damian@cheol-taekwondo.com and a zoom link will be provided (please note, you must be a British Taekwondo member to take part in this session).

If you would like to donate to MACS NI in memory of Hazel the link to the fundraising page can be found HERE.

Please remember that help is always available to everybody. If you ever feel like you need somebody to talk to there is no shame in seeking help and there are many helplines available if you do not feel comfortable talking to those closest to you.

12 Tips for Christmas

The festive season whilst a joyous time for many can be a very distressing time for some.  Please take care of each other, check in on those you know are alone and most importantly be kind.
