British Taekwondo, like most governing bodies responding to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions on gatherings and movement, will host the 2020 AGM and supporting workshops virtually this year, using the zoom video platform.
This will all take place on Saturday 5th December 2020
BT has hosted several club & coach conferences successfully using this method, and the BT board feel this is a great opportunity for more club representatives to engage with us than usual as we are not asking everyone to travel long distances this year!
In addition to the AGM itself, BT will be hosting a series of live presentation workshops throughout the day, updating everyone on the solid work that has been going on behind the scenes during this unusual year- and how we can all prepare and market our clubs for a (hopefully!) post Covid 2021, with a return to competitions, training course opportunities, seminars and events across all disciplines.
We will unveil British Taekwondo’s strategic plan for the next 10 years……..and will outline how we will conduct a wider consultation with members on this ground breaking work.
We will also share some of the planned improvements to our operations, that will aim to provide a better service to our clubs and members – as we rebuild for the future!
We invite all British Taekwondo club coaches to join us for the workshops and to register for the AGM if your club qualifies
British Taekwondo invites all BT club coaches to attend a range of online presentations as outlined below. All coaches, who are on the hub as current, will receive an email from BT with log-in information on how to join the zoom conference in the coming weeks
It’s a packed itinerary, where we will set out BT’s new strategic plan, hear from the new volunteer led technical departments and their plans for the future, plus there will be updates on BT’s new coach education structure, website upgrades and hub improvements.
