We hope you are all doing well and staying as active as possible.
We have recently undergone an extensive disclosure pricing review, as we felt that an update was needed to reflect today’s current club costs. Therefore, we wanted to make you aware of a few disclosure and admin pricing changes that will take effect from 1st January 2021.
We appreciate that clubs and coaches have a lot of outgoings in order to keep their successful clubs open and running and we want to help as much as we can to keep costs appropriate and affordable for all. I am happy to announce that our charges for those signed up to the online update service have been reduced.
Below you will find both our current and newly approved DBS and admin prices.
I want to address and explain the increased price in the “Paid disclosure check (England + Wales)”. DBS checks are a large administrative task, which can quite often result in a lot of time spent chasing up a disclosure check to be started/completed, and now also conducting the completion of ID verification checks.
Although there is an increase in price for a “Paid disclosure check (England + Wales)”, we have accounted for this and have amended the admin charges to balance out this increase.
We advise that when completing a new disclosure check, it is in your best interest to sign up to the DBS online update service (England + Wales only), as this will ensure your disclosure renewal is quicker and much cheaper (Paid renewal checks = £10 as opposed to £85 and volunteer renewal checks = £10 as opposed to £25).
There will be clear information available on how you can sign up to this service, when completing a disclosure check with British Taekwondo.
